The ICREA community is devastated by the sudden passing of our dear colleague Kilian Muñiz, ICREA Research Professor at the Institut Català d'Investigació Química (ICIQ).
Prof. Muñiz was the head of the Activation and transformation of nitrogen compounds group at ICIQ.
We want to express our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Peter Wagner, ICREA at UB, is organising a series of lectures entitled 'Debt: New and Old European Ties' at CCCB.
Here is the information for the series and for the first lecture. These public lectures are followed by seminars with the speaker on the day after (Friday, 1st, 8th and 22nd of February, 10.30h – 13h).
On the 31st of January at 11h the presentation of the Pacte Nacional per a la Societat del Coneixement will be held at the CCCB.
Chaired by consellera Maria Àngels Chacon, this initiative is an expression of commitment to knowledge, research and their value for society.
It seeks to create long term welfare through research and knowledge, jointly with universities, research centres and knowledge-based companies.
