Congratutations to Eva Maria Novoa and Xavier Ros Oton who have been awarded at the 35th edition of the ‘Premis Nacionals de Recerca’ (PNR) 2024.

These two ICREA Research Professors received the PNR for Young Talent (ex aequo).

Eva Maria Novoa is an ICREA Reseearch Professor and head of the Epitranscriptomics and RNA Dynamics Group at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG). Dr Novoa has been recognised for her contributions to the field of epitranscriptomics, an emerging field of molecular biology that studies how chemical modifications of RNA affect gene expression.

Xavier Ros Oton is an ICREA Research Professor and Full Professor of Mathematics at the Universitat de Barcelona. Dr. Ros Oton has been recognised for his exceptional contributions to the field of mathematics. His work has not only advanced the understanding of partial differential equations but also has had a profound impact on various scientific disciplines.
