Short biography
I obtained my PhD in theoretical particle physics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2010, working under the supervision of Prof. Ulrich Nierste on flavour physics in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. Then I went to the University of Bern (in the group of Prof. Christoph Greub), where I mostly worked on matching the MSSM on the 2HDM, performing phenomenological analyses of the latter and SMEFT calculations. I won a personal Marie Curie grant for a 2-year fellowship at CERN (2013-2014) where I started analysing the B flavour anomalies. With an Ambizione Fellowship of the Swiss National Science Foundation, I went to PSI where I worked extensively on leptoquarks. This was followed by an SNSF professorship at the University of Zurich (2019-2025) where I studied e.g. vector-like fermions and their effect in precision observables such as g-2 of the muon and the Cabibbo angle anomaly. Recently, I shifted my research focus to Higgs physics.
