The present invention relates to a thermistor. Also, the present invention relates to a bolometer and an image sensor.There are known conventional thermistors, bolometers and image sensors which are devices shich comprise semiconductor materials which exhibit a temperature-dependent resistivity. Thermistors are typically used for measuring tmeperatures or sensing temperature variation/changes, and bolometers are typically used for measuring radiant heat by means of the change that the radiant heat causes on the resistance of a semiconductor material of the bolometer. For this purpose, some known conventional bolometers, in additional to their respective semiconductor material whose resistivity is temperature dependent, further comprise an absorber which is suitable for absorbing the radiant heat that should be measured, and said absorber is thermally connected to the semiconductor material for passing to the latter heat that is generated in the bolometer as a result of the absorption of the radiant heat by the absorber. It is also noted that som of the known bolometers, since they are suitable for measuring radiant heat and, hence, IR radiation, are utilized as components of certain types of image sensors such as thermal cameras. Hence, there are known IR-sensitive image sensors that comprise known conventional bolometers.
