11-F: Mummy I want to be a scientist- How 13 ISGlobalian females became scientists

Prof. Anna Roca was invited to participate in a digital book called “Mummy, I Want to Be a Scientist”, a joint initiative by ISGlobal’s Gender Commission and the Communications team to commemorate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This project was created with the aim of bringing society, and especially young girls, closer to the personal and professional journeys of ISGlobal’s female researchers, highlighting the paths they followed to become scientists.

Thirteen female ISGlobal scientists from diverse fields and career stages share their personal stories, reflecting on the experiences and role models that sparked their interest in science and inspired them to pursue this vocation.
