Start up power at ICREA!
Two ICREA spin offs obtain funding from H2020 SME support instrument. The entrepreneurs Laura Soucek (ICREA at VHIO) and Roger Gomis (ICREA at IRB) have both secured a bunch of money from H2020 SME instrument this week. Their two companies are attacking different aspects of cancer tumors. Inbiomotion, Roger's company is testing a platform to prevent breast cancer from invading bone marrow. Peptomyc, Laura's company, has invented an innovative mollecule that blocks one of the most critical oncogenes, applicable to a wide array of different tumors.

Debate "Europe and the Middle East are condemned to fight"

González Ballester, ICREA at the UPF, is one of the organisers of a series of debates involving alumni and external people of the Oxford University Alumni Society covering different topics (much like the ICREA Colloquia). Premis ICREA Acadèmia 2015
Els noms dels 30 premis de l'edició 2015 ja és públic. Enguany es van presentar un total de 190 candidats i candidates, de totes les àrees de coneixement. L'ICREA Acadèmia és un incentiu per la recerca que fa el personal docent i investigador de les universitats públiques catalanes, que permet una substancial millora de la projecció investigadora de les nostres universitats, de l'impacte i de la seva projecció internacional.
Com cada any, prepararem una cerimònia de lliurament dels premis, que anunciarem amb prou antelació. La nostra enhorabona als guardonats i a les universitats!
