Kalyan Talluri is a member of ICREA (since Sept 2006) and an Adjunct Professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, in the Economics and Business department. He got his Masters from Purdue University and a Ph.D in Operations Research from MIT. He has held visiting positions at Kellogg Business School, Northwestern University and INSEAD.

I am interested in pricing of consumer goods and services, and the operational implementation of pricing tactics. One example of such is the practice of revenue management in the service industries (airlines, hotels, rental cars etc.) where capacity-constrained firms, faced with stochastic heterogeneous demand use sophisticated price-discriminating tactics operationally.
