Research Interests

|
Linking the macroscopic structural properties and mechanical behavior of amorphous metallic alloys with the microscopic structure will allow us to synthesized tailored alloys for potential applications in fields such as aeronautics, corrosion, and micromechanics.
The investigation of these links represents one of the main research interests of Jorge Serrano, who employes spectroscopic and synchrotron radiation techniques for characterization of mechanical, structural, and lattice dynamical properties in materials.
