Genomes are the molecules of life because they carry all the information necessary for the development and the survival of all organisms. Our research activity is based on the computational and experimental analysis of the sequence of genomes to be able to decipher the general code that dictates where, when and which gene has to be expressed. This information is crucial to solve molecular, evolutionary and biomedical questions.
